I started taking photos in middle school after being dragged along to quince after quince by my dad to accompany him while he took photos. I've shot a lot of quinces and weddings alongside my dad since then but shooting sports is my favorite. In high school I was photo editor of the school's yearbook and covered every football game for my last 3 years there.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production at the University of Houston in 2016. Since my freshman year, I was a part of the student newspaper, The Daily Cougar, starting as a photographer and later moving up to Photo Editor.
After college I got a job as a production assistant at what was then KGBT 4, now KVEO 23 in Harlingen, Texas. I am currently a technical director for the NBC morning news show.
Outside of doing photo and video stuff I enjoy working on and racing cars. I love 90s Japanese cars and own way too many Mazda Miatas.
